In search of...

"She was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines.

She was beautiful for the way she thought.

She was beautiful for that sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved.

She was beautiful for her ability to make other people smile even when she was sad.

No, she wasn't beautiful for something as temporary as her looks.

She was beautiful, deep down to her soul."

Found this quote on FB.

No offence dear wife…I have still not found her.

And don’t worry…  I have stopped searching for her since long time J

Difficult to start

Hi..
Yes back to back posts in a couple of days..
I kno thts not like me..
But sometimes boredom makes you do somethings you never thought..
And this is a very thoughtful activity...
So the topic today is about the effort required to start a new thing.
It reminds me of the Newtons law..
Things try to maintain there state wether rest or motion..
So this time I observed the same in lot of cases..
I am an avid reader.. and can read almost anything..
I recently finished a book but post that I am not able to start a new one.
There could be multiple reasons..
I tried my hands at a couple of bestsellers but I am still not able to actually go ahead of initial 2 3 pages..
Same happed with TV series..
Since I finished House MD I am not able to start a new one.
Recently my friend gave me some episodes of another series but I am not able to continue..
Same happens with blogging as well..
Until I write a post I have gathered a lot of topics to be written and a lot of times I forget them..
But now I have started noting them down.
Hope this helps...
I am not sure how I have changed so much.. because I was not like this before
I was not able to sit idle in my bus I needed something.. but now I am not able to concentrate on anything..
I hope this phase changes as I am already too restless and sitting idle for long periods is surely not going to do any good..
You wont believe where I am sitting while writing this post...
I am with my wife at the doctors place for a checkup..
I think this is it for today..
Catch u again soon..
Bbye

Dear Mind, Y u play games with me ?

I had read it somewhere that the memories we have of childhood before 4 years of age are not real.

But sometimes it seems that our mind does play games regarding the memories of teenage [or the memories of incidents 12-15 years back].

I was going through answers for the post on Quora for a question about when did you meet your first BF/GF.

I found an answer posted by a girl where she mentioned that she met a boy at her NTSE preparation classes and she liked him and sent him a greeting at school address.

She saw him at exam hall and then they met in senior college but she didn’t mention him that she had sent the card..

I felt like is story presented by a girl about me as I was in NTSE and I had crush on a girl. I felt that she to likes me as she used to glance at me a lot of times.

And then I had seen her staring at me at the exam hall too.

Then I tried to remember if I had got a card sent on my school address. I am still not able to recollect if this is true.. I have a strong feeling that I had received a card from some girl.

Yes we too met in senior college and had a short chat a couple of times. The problem was that the answer was posted as Anonymous and there was no way to know her details.

I was so lost in those thoughts that I didn’t even read the complete answer. After I regained my senses a continued to read the answer and fond that both of them got married and this was not about me.

But I have still not recovered completely and I am trying to remember whether I did receive a card or not.

Dear Mind, Y u play games with me ?

Can you dare to care

Hi,

This is again a post related to a true dare by a girl who commutes in my office bus.

A few weeks ago when she just joined our route bus (I am not sure if she is a new joine or not),

It was evening time and we were returning home. I was listening to music with headphones.

She came to me and asked if I would like to help some “orphan kids”.

She was carrying some charity coupons worth 10 rs each.

I was in no mood then and I denied. She just smiled and moved ahead.

After a couple of mins she did same with someone else.

I was observing silently and saw that no one in the bus bought the tickets from her except 1 girl.

I almost forgot this incident until the events of last post happened.

Then I thought that it needs courage to ask someone to help for someone else.

Had it been me instead of her associated with such NGO I would have readily paid 1000 Rs [I have done this many times]

But the real dare is to ask people to help.. sorry I can’t do that.. and I don’t think many of us can either.

This post was in my mind since quite a few days but I didn’t had the will to write it..

Today when I am emotionally depressed I felt this is the best way to freshen up.. J

Are men bold enough to accept this boldness??

I had been thinking since a long time for this post but didn't know if I could actually do justice to the topic.

This incident happened last week. I cant divulge much details about the concerned person
but this lady works in my office and I have know her since quite some time..
One fine morning she was driving to office and 2 guys on a bike came close to her slapped her thigh and passed some crap comment. She got agitated and went to a traffic police man nearby.
She told him the details and also the bike number which she had noted. the guy immediately called up his colleague at the next signal. he also registered a police complaint at the nearest police station over phone and claimed himself to be a witness.
The next policeman was also a decent person and caught those brats. When she reached at the spot she identified them and the policeman gave both the guys a nice tight slap. he asked this girl to leave and said that he will take care of these guys.

She came to office and mentioned this incident to us. But after some time she came to me and asked me not to disclose this to any one else as she doesn't want her hubby to know this. She felt that he would panic as she had done something which could lead to vengeance from the guys.

This spiked some thoughts in my mind. Are we Men [Husbands] bold enough to accept this boldness of out wives? If it would had been my wife how would I have reacted on knowing this.
I know initially lot of us would think that we did be proud and would have expected similar behavior for our wives..
But giving a deeper thought I feel that I would have also panicked on knowing this and may be advised her not to do something like this next time. there are lot of reasons behind this one of those being the "Cannibalesque" behavior of men around us.
But we will have to change this mindset and start accepting what this lady has done. may be if all ladies start behaving similarly bad guys like this actually start fearing of the outcomes of such misdeeds.

A few months back the same lady had given a tough fight to a petrol pump attendant because he was doing some cheating since last 4-5 times. She did fight with the pump manager and ended up getting petrol including the previous cheated amount petrol.

She says that sometimes she feels that she acts impulsively without thinking much. My advice to her was and will always be the same. be as You are ..

You are one of those who are actually making the world a better place.

Just A Hie

I was working from home this week.
Today after 3 days I went to office..
It was a normal day bt because there was not too much work to do there was lot of gossiping
We nagged about married life and stuff..
Why am I sayig this.. even i dont know..
the reason of this post is a bit weird..
In the morning today [i dont exactly remember if it was morning] i was thinking something and had got a topic for a post which i dont remember at all now :p
I do have another topic running in my mind but i dont know if i can actually pen it down..
I will try that now but in a new post..

Am I numb to emotions...

Hi,
It has been a long time since my last post.. [Not the happy Diwali on :p]
This year due to some reasons I will not be going to my hometown to celebrate Diwali...
I had known this since a long time that i wont be able to go home for Diwali..
But i didn't feel the pain for not going home..
I was never like this..
I still remember my first year in Pune .. 2007 when i was in CDAC..
that year as i was in CDAC and we didn't have an Official holiday for Diwali..
And because of some circumstances i got a chance to go home..
I was so happy at that time...

Around 8-10 years back there were some circumstances when my Dad had some fight with my grand dad and he said that we will leave our own house and shift to some rented house... I cried for almost a week..
The fight had settled in a couple of days but i was so sad it even affected my studies..
I took me a lot of courage to leave my hometown and shift base to Pune.
Even when I moved to a new rented flat  from my old rented flat [in pune itself] i had cried..
My wife was so confused to know the reason... i was too emotional..
but since last 2 -3 years i feel as if i feel no pain.
This year i am not that sad as i should have been..
I am feeling a bit pain..and the proof is this post itself but still i know i am not feeling that amount of pain as i should have been feeling.
Some years back i had read/seen/heard of some people especially in metro cities who give themselves cuts burns or some other sadistic things to feel pain because they say that they don't feel emotional pain.
i was too curious to know how can this be true..
But now i understand the gist behind it..
I hope i don't drop down to that level..
Wish me Luck...

Happy Diwali!!

Hi,

Wish You all a Happy Diwali And A Prosperous New Year..
