The Ignore Switch..

Hi All,

Yes… the flow of emotions continues…

Third post for the day but I do not think I will be able to break the record of 4 posts in a same day.. :P

Recently I have been thinking a lot.. :P and my wife has been complaining a lot ..for the same reason..

It so happens that whenever we face a situation where we cannot / do not want to help/intervene we hit the ignore switch.

Like while walking through the town we see someone throwing trash on road we turn our face and walk away. We do no action.

Sam happens when we see some stranger in some pain/difficulty.. we ignore..

I feel I have been doing the same at my house. There are lots of open items/issues which need my attention but I have hit the ignore switch on those.

Sad it is but then it is the Human nature.

People like Mahatma Gandhi, Bose, and other freedom fighters also hit the ignore switch but what they ignored was not agony of people , they ignored the pain they felt when they were crushed time and again.

I am not sure if I should change the direction of the ignore switch but in my heart I am pretty sure I am wrong.

The bundle of joy.. story continues

Hi all,

Yes second post for the day..

Sometimes you are so much full of feelings that you feel like venting out your feelings..

So this flow of posts is for the same reason.. [the reason could be in a follow up post ;)]

But the context of this post is a bit different..

My bundle of joy [Pravi] is growing up .. almost 2 and half months and same stands true for her problems..

I always knew that kids came with their problems.. but  you won’t understand this until you yourself face them..

The biggest problem is that you do not know what he wants or the actual reason why she is crying.

You can experiment and map her crying patterns just like my wife is doing but then you can never be sure..

What I like about my wife is the way she is maintaining her cool with Pravi.

I was literally in a shock when the other day in morning she was talking with Pravi so sweetly even though my wife hand not slept for more than an hour. Pravi was a bit ill and Richa was awake whole night to look after her.

And I get frustrated with slightest of her cries..

Now I understand the saying that nature takes care of everything and gives a mother the tolerance levels so high..

Still I do not want to pass on the credit to nature..

KUDOS to Richa for being such a sport and a great mother in the making.

I wish someday Pravi understands the efforts made by her mom!

The Lock

Hi All,

This time I am back with a shorter break than usual..

Wanted to post so many items but my laziness defies my will power.

And this topic was on my notes since quite some time..

Although this was a random thought which popped over during a “tapri” session with my friends at office,

I nurtured it a bit to create a plot of what to write..

But today when I am actually writing this post I do not remember what I had planned..

I still can tell you the conversation how it started..

So we were enjoying our tea when we were discussion something.

And then I came up with this sentence

“Dammed is the guy who invented locks”

And by lock I don’t mean the hard lock-key type of lock but any lock..

It’s because of the open locks that we feel like stealing something..

Locked could be your PC or your facebook account..

It could be your house, locker, cupboard.

Heck most of us lock our minds with opinions and judgments.

I always feel Anything locked is not at all good for us..

We are so used to locks that we cannot imagine the world without locks…

PS: The thought was seeded in my mind by one of the books by Ayn Rand.
